Terms of Service

Draft — requires legal review before commercial launch. This page describes how Invalo actually handles data and works today, in plain language. It is not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer, makes no claim of certified compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles or any other regime, and is not legal advice.

The service

Invalo analyses your business data to find revenue-recovery opportunities, prepares follow-up communications for your review, and — once you approve — sends them to your customers. Invalo can also receive messages sent to your Facebook Page or Instagram professional account and, where you have set up and approved a workflow for it, send automated replies. Every opportunity and dollar estimate Invalo produces is a data-driven estimate, not a guarantee of results; Invalo makes no promise that any specific amount of revenue will be recovered.

Trial and subscription

  • New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No payment details are required to start a trial.
  • During your trial you can run analysis and prepare campaigns and workflows, but sending to customers — including automated replies on Facebook Messenger and Instagram — requires an active paid subscription.
  • After your trial, continuing to use Invalo requires a subscription at A$299/month, billed monthly, for the Invalo plan.
  • There is no permanent free plan.
  • You can cancel at any time from Billing. Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then access to paid features ends — your historical data and results stay available.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the business and customer data you provide, for having an appropriate basis to contact your customers through Invalo, and for reviewing what you approve. Invalo does not send a customer-facing message unless you have approved it — a recovery message before it is sent, or the workflow that sends automated replies, which you approve and switch on, and which sends within the rules you approved rather than waiting for your approval of each individual reply.

Facebook and Instagram

To connect Facebook Messenger or Instagram you must be an administrator of the Page, or the owner of the professional account, and entitled to authorise Invalo to act for it. You are responsible for following Meta's terms and policies for the channels you connect, including Meta's messaging rules (for example, the window in which a business may reply to a customer) and any requirement to tell people when they are talking to an automated assistant. Meta may change or restrict access to its platform; Invalo is not responsible for Meta's availability. You can disconnect a channel at any time.

AI-generated output

Opportunities, recommendations, dollar estimates and drafted messages are generated by AI models and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before it is sent or acted on. Invalo distinguishes potential (estimated) revenue from verified revenue throughout the product, and only verified figures represent money confirmed as actually recovered.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Invalo to contact anyone who has opted out or asked not to be contacted, to send unlawful, misleading or unsolicited communications beyond legitimate follow-up with your own customers, to breach Meta's or any other channel provider's rules, or to attempt to bypass the approval or entitlement controls built into the product.

Cancellation and data deletion

You can cancel your subscription, permanently delete a business, or permanently delete your entire account yourself at any time from Settings. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and removes your businesses and the customer, lead, quote, order, invoice, campaign, conversation, and activity data that belongs to them, and revokes any connected integration. See Data deletion instructions. Invalo doesn't currently offer a way to transfer ownership of a business to someone else — if you need that, email support@invalo.au and we'll help directly. A narrow set of records — billing and payment history and the minimum activity log needed for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance — is kept after deletion only for as long as the law requires or permits.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Invalo is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invalo is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including any revenue that was estimated but not ultimately recovered.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Invalo after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
